Hundreds of members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints confronted former member, and mother of four, Sabrina Broadbent Tetzner. Sabrina had left the group's compound eight years ago, leaving behind her children. She gained custody to them and had an order from the court that she could claim them by 5pm. However when she arrived at the compound, they were not there. Sabrina returned later and stayed in her car overnight due to the fear of her car being vandalised. The next morning, she had a stand-off with the members, who refused to give the children back and reportedly tried to put cows and chickens into her car. She called law enforcement officers, who helped take her children away. |
